From the moment I received the winning DM to the jaw-dropping moment I set foot in the stunning Lulu’s influencer showroom, my experience with Lulu’s was nothing short of extraordinary. Keep reading to relive the unforgettable adventure!

Lulu’s took things to the next level with their LA Showroom Sweepstakes. The giveaway included everything you could need for a luxurious trip with a plus-one. Think stylish outfits, VIP treatment, and plenty of shopping opportunities. Here’s what the winner (yep, that’s me!) received:

Sounds dreamy, right? Well, it was all of that and more. If you’re thinking, I wish I’d entered this sweepstake, don’t worry—I’ve got the inside scoop, so you’ll know exactly what the experience is like. They are always posting giveaways so follow them on Instagram to keep up!
Winning the Sweepstakes 🎉
It all began on March 21st, when I got the DM from Lulu’s on Instagram saying I won. (Cue happy screaming and instantly calling my sister because she HAD to be my plus one.)
After I filled out some forms and finalized the logistics, the spectacular grand prize started becoming a reality. Flights? Covered. Hotel? The luxe Palihouse West Hollywood. The cherry on top? On March 26th, they asked us to pick out 5 items directly from Lulu’s website to wear for the event. Talk about living the fashion dream! And yes, they even said we’d be spoiled with a complete influencer gifting experience and VIP treatment. Pinch me!
Anneke, my main contact, was just the sweetest person to work with. Once everything was confirmed—including extending our trip one extra night at our own expense for extra exploring—we were set to fly out on April 3rd.
Arriving in LA 🌴
We landed in LA on April 3rd and the Lulu’s team immediately impressed us. Anneke, the incredible coordinator I had been in contact with, sent us a $200 Uber gift card (hello, easy LA transportation!) and a $250 Visa gift card for extra fun.
When we arrived at the Palihouse West Hollywood, we were greeted by the most personalized welcome package you could imagine. Waiting on our beds were the Lulu’s outfits we had handpicked, complete with dresses, a purse, earrings, necklaces, claw clips, and tote bags. But the surprises didn’t end there! There was a giant Lulu’s-branded gift box filled with a cozy sweatshirt, a disposable camera wrapped in Lulu’s branding (how cute?!), a notebook, a Stanley water bottle, and more. We were also surprised to find event more dresses hanging up in our closet as well as a pair of black heels I picked out!
Lulus didn’t just meet expectations; they CREATED moments.
Getting Styled for the Big Event
The big event was scheduled for April 4th at Lulu’s incredible LA Showroom. The day began with a morning appointment at DryBar, located conveniently across from our hotel. Nothing says VIP like a bouncy blowout, right?
From DryBar, we headed back to the hotel, slipped into our gorgeous Lulu’s outfits, added the finishing touches to our makeup, and called an Uber for the showroom.
Experiencing the Lulu’s Showroom
Walking into Lulu’s showroom was a moment I’ll never forget. Anneke and the entire team welcomed us with warm smiles and enthusiasm, making us feel like VIPs from the second we walked in.
The event was filled with incredible moments:
- Rosé & Snacks: I immediately grabbed a glass of rosé to sip on while taking it all in. There was the dreamiest charcuterie board setup, though I barely had time to eat because there was so much going on!
- Fun Beauty Perks: I even got some pastel pink tinsel added to my hair at their tinsel station!
- Shopping Spree: We were encouraged to shop for any three items we loved from the showroom. My sister and I spent hours trying on clothes and living out a dream we’ve had for YEARS.
I can’t even put into words how amazing the entire team was. The Lulu’s team was so down-to-earth and lovely to talk to. Everyone was so genuine, and chatting with Anneke and the rest of the crew felt like talking with old friends. By the time we left, we had bags of new favorite items, smiles stretching ear to ear, and memories that I’ll cherish forever. They also gave us another $200 in Uber gift card to cover the rest of our trip!
Getting photos snapped for both ourselves and Lulu’s socials? Just the icing on the (very trendy) cake!
Bonus Adventures in LA
While the Lulu’s event was the centerpiece of our trip, we also explored other parts of LA. Here are just a few things we got up to (stay tuned for a separate blog on all this!):
- Delicious food and cozy cafes (you know we hunted down the best spots).
- Checking out Nintendo World!
- Seeing the HollyWood Sign from the BEST location.
LA’s vibrant energy combined with the Lulu’s experience made this trip nothing short of magical.
Final Reflections
It’s honestly hard to put the entire experience into words. I’ve always been a loyal Lulu’s customer, but this experience took my admiration to the next level. It was a surreal, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and getting to share it with my sister made it even more incredible.
It’s so surreal to think about how all of this came to be! Back in September, I got engaged (still can’t believe it!), and my sister and I were joking about how fun it would be to fly out to Lulus in LA just to try on their white dresses—because seriously, they’ve always been my absolute favorite clothing brand. At the time, it felt like one of those playful “what if” moments you never expect to happen in real life. Fast forward a few months, and here I am, living that dream after finding out I actually won the giveaway! It just goes to show, sometimes the universe aligns in the most magical ways. ✨
From beginning to end, the entire Lulu’s team made us feel valued and celebrated. Leaving the showroom that afternoon, we couldn’t stop smiling. Memories like this aren’t ones you forget.
